Gone are the days when soap operas were just for grandparents. Soaps have completely revamped themselves in recent years, allowing us students to enjoy some of that drama too. Everyone has a favourite soap, no matter how much they try to hide it! If you’re wondering what your favourite soap says about you, then keep reading.
Emmerdale
If you’re a huge Emmerdale fanatic, you are probably innocent-looking a first glance. But, as people get to know you, they will soon see that you love a bit of drama.
You probably enjoy the simpler things in life (unless your favourite character is Kim Tate) and you most likely feel the most at home in rural environments. You won’t be phased by a bit of mud and will always put in the graft no matter the weather.
Coronation Street
Corrie fans love a bit of the city life and, quite frankly, would be bored anywhere else. You are the type of person who loves a bit of rivalry with your neighbours and are never afraid to call anyone out when they’ve done wrong.

Hollyoaks
Hollyoaks was a soap made for you! You are youthful and full of energy, constantly switching between friendship groups due to your popularity. Your personality shines and so does your fashion sense.
Raves are your middle name and your summer wouldn’t be complete without a weekend at a festival. If we took a look at your Spotify, we’d probably see a lot of pop songs making an appearance.
Doctors
If Doctors is your guilty pleasure then you are probably an underdog. You may get overlooked by those around you, but you have the ability to achieve great things. You don’t have the busiest of lives (you always make sure to be in for Doctors at lunch time). Yet you wouldn’t have it any other way.
You like to steer away from the main trends and do what makes you happy instead. If anyone judges you for this, then you won’t let this stop you.
