When you start university, it is really common to try new activities and societies. But what does your society say about you?
You may not have had the opportunity, or time, to do this at school. This is why universities are great to find new hobbies, passions, and even favourite activities.
Of course, societies are also great ways to meet like-minded people. This is also why many try out lots of different clubs at the start of term.
With the end of the academic year drawing closer, you have probably dropped some of the societies you tried at the start and may have become a regular at others.
Have a read below and see if your favourite society is featured in this article, and if the societies personality fit you to a T.
Amnesty International
Uou are someone who has a strong sense of justice. You are probably studying something like law or psychology, and you wish to make your mark on the world.
You always step in during a drunken argument, as you are the peacekeeper of your group.
Cheerleading
Here you have swapped out your social life for the dedication to this activity. Missing practice includes getting ripped apart by your captain, as this really is a team sport that requires a lot of dedication.
You probably attend practice more than some of your seminars, but the costumes at competition time, as well as the feeling of performing a full out, makes it worth it.
Here you have the most dedicated social sec, that provides the best socials of the year. Committing fully to this team will bring you some of your favourite nights out, but will also be hard to work around your degree.

Rugby
You and your mates may walk around campus thinking you are the true A team. Starting the earliest and finishing later for the sports socials, rugby people are in Uni for the comradery they have been searching for.
On game days, the celebrations are bigger than Christmas, as you wear your Sunday best and get ready for (hopefully) a day of celebrations. You’re not afraid of a night filled with contact and will be the first to jump into a scarp on an evening out.
Cricket
Cricket is your life as you wait for the summer to be able to enjoy this long game. You start practising your bowling on nights out and will randomly start swinging an imaginary bat after a few drinks.
You may be studying languages, or English, but bring up your passion for this sport before getting to what your degree is in almost every conversation.
Debate
You miss the actions of a heated debate and, if you find your seminars are lacking much passion from your peers, you seek people out who love debating, whatever the topic.
You love the sound of your own voice and think this will serve you well in the future. However, when it actually comes to any heated chats between friends, you often keep out of it to see the action unfold.
