The most popular destination for the hot chocolate seems to be Carette. Carette is an elegant tea room in the centre of Paris and looks just like the cafes you have seen in films. It offers classic French pastries and macarons as well as sandwiches and main meals. Just a 12 minute walk away from the Eiffel Tower, it is perfect for a tea break amongst your sightseeing.

Cafe de Flore

A 20 minute walk from the Notre Dame Cathedral you will find Café de Flore. Café de Flore is known for its famous clientele, which in the past has included high profile writers. Today it is still popular with celebrities and tourists. You will find a similar menu to Carette, of course including the TikTok hot chocolate.

Another beautiful and well-known café offering the hot chocolate is Angelica. The décor is elegant and the cakes are unique and delicious. It is directly opposite Tuileries Garden so you can enjoy spectacular views with your authentic Paris tea break.

Hot chocolate is delicious at any time of the year. Yes, even in the middle of a heat wave. But, with the sunshine tailing off slightly in the last few days, and with autumn fast approaching, you can rest assured these places will be chockful of people wanting to taste the latest TikTok trend.
