Bridgerton became a hit Netfix show as soon as it came out in 2020, now with season 2 here it has people wondering where they’ve seen the actors before their streaming site debut.
If you are part of the group of people who sit and watch a show to scroll through the cast list if you recognise an actor, you are not alone – some of the actors have made themselves a known name on soaps and dramas before making the leap to Bridgerton.
Here is a few of the shows you have seen the Bridgerton cast in before, as well as where you can watch them:
Phoebe Dynevor
Before she made her debut to Queen Charlotte and married the handsome Duke, Phoebe actually made her TV debut in the BBC series Waterloo Road when she was just 14-years-old. She played the role of school girl Siobhan Mailey for a year, appearing in 20 episodes in the fifth series.
Waterloo Road series 1 to 10 is on BBC iPlayer.
Regé-Jean Page
And before he became the brooding Duke, Regé-Jean also graced the halls of Waterloo Road in its tenth season, which ran from October 2014 until March 2015. He took on the role of the school’s new graphic design teacher as well as the brother of one of the pupils.

Jonathan Bailey
Before he drew in fans worldwide playing the smouldering moody Viscount Bridgerton, Johnathan played Olly in BBC’s Broadchurch, the towns journalist in the first two series. Broadchurch gripped viewers on finding out what happened to Danny Latimer.

Nicola Coughlan
The Irish actor may be best known for her portrayal as Penelope Featherington aka Lady Whistledown, but Nicola also stars as Clara Delvin in the Channel 4 sitcom Derry Girls, of which the third, and final, season of the show has just premiered.
All seasons of Derry Girls can be viewed on All 4.
Ruth Gemmell
Before she was widower Lady Violet Bridgerton, who raised eight children all by herself, Ruth will be forever know to some as Tracy Beaker’s mum in the CBBC children’s show, The Story of Tracy Beaker.
Ruth also reprised the role in the Tracy Beaker Movie, Movie and me, as well as the new show My Mum Tracy Beaker, all on CBBC.
