The full list of performers who will be at Birmingham Pride has been released.
To mark the 25th anniversary of Birmingham Pride, this year’s theme for the celebration is ‘Pride and Protest’.
Organisers of Birmingham Pride 2022 have said, ‘Our aim is to play a leading role in building a community where all people are free to live without fear or prejudice. We strive for equality for all as part of an evolving global pride movement.’
Birmingham Pride will take place on 24 and 25 September 2022.

Birmingham Pride Performers Announced
Last year, it was announced that this year’s headliners at Birmingham Pride will be Steps. This global pop group are the first British mixed-gender group to chart-top in four consecutive decades.
Another headliner is singer and DJ Becky Hill.
After appearing on The Voice, Hill’s song Gecko (Overdrive) made it to number 1 on the UK charts. She has since received two Brit nominations and is one of the UK’s biggest pop stars.
Melanie C is also on the main stage list. Mel C is part of one of the biggest British girl groups ever, the Spice Girls. With their mantra of ‘girl-power’, the five women in this band took over the world for the majority of the 90s.
Other well-known performers on the main stage include Ella Henderson, Tia Kofi, Sabrina Washington and Regard. You can see the full line-up below.
Stages
Birmingham Pride will feature four different stages: Main Stage, Dance Arena, Future Stage and Cabaret Stage.
The Main Stage has a large runway, increased VIP areas and large screens. This is where the bigger name performers will be.
The Dance Arena was only introduced in 2021. It has a circus big top and provides extra space for the main stage.
The Future Stage is part of the Village Street Party and showcases a lot of live music as well as upcoming Birmingham talent.
Finally, the Cabaret Stage, also known as the Cabaret Marquee, showcases some of the best UK drag talent and cabaret performers.
