Will Teachers Be Striking In April 2023?
The Department of Education has been in talks with teachers’ unions across England since the 17th of March. Strike action has occurred across thousands of schools as wages fell an average of 11% with inflation. The dispute has ended in Scotland following 7% rise for 2022-23, and there is currently no further strike action planned in England and Wales.
Will Rail Workers Be Striking?
Members of the RMT were planning a strike for the 30th of March and the 1st of April. However, the union has since decided to suspend this action. RMT has ended its dispute with Network Rail, although its dispute with the TOCs (Train Operating Companies) remains ongoing. So, while there are no strikes planned at present, there could be in the future.
Will Driving Examiners Be Striking In April 2023?
