Doja Cat has said she’s ‘quitting music’ after being slammed by her Paraguayan fans, as they claim she ‘ignored’ them waiting outside her hotel in the rain after her show was cancelled by the storm.
The international star was scheduled to perform in Paraguay, but the concert had to be cancelled due to bad weather. However fans aren’t happy, claiming she didn’t obviously acknowledge the country or her supporters.
What Happened To Doja Cat In Paraguay?
While on tour in South America the rapper was supposed to perform in Paraguay. But due to a storm the show was cancelled. However, some dedicated fans claimed they waited outside to meet her.
Some stated on Twitter that they waited outside Doja Cat’s hotel ‘in the rain’ to see her. But that she didn’t come to see them and allegedly ‘ignored’ them and the situation in the country caused by the bad weather.
Doja Cat Hits Back
In response to these claims, Doja wrote in one of her now-deleted tweets: ‘There was a storm in Paraguay, the show got canceled. When I left the next morning, there wasn’t one person outside the hotel waiting for me. Let that sink in.’
‘I regret spending all the time I did getting ready that day for the show I’ve been busting my a** every day to put on for you but god bless,’ she wrote in another tweet.
Following this, the 26-year-old Tweeted ‘BRAZIL’ and lots of Brazil flags before changing her name on the social media site to ‘I Quit’.
But some people went on to say she was ‘gaslighting’ the fans and the country and made them feel ’empty’ for not tweeting about Paraguay.
Then, when a fan asked her where her humility had gone, she went on to say she ‘quits’ with a series of tweets.
