The Jonas Brothers’ comeback is here and its hit with a bang but what are your favourite songs from the group? What Is Their New Single?
We have been graced with a new Jonas Brothers tune to whet our appetite for their upcoming album, said to be releasing in May 2023. Their new single Waffle House was released April 7 and people are going wild for it.
Part of the song was released on TikTok when the group performed it at a concert and audience members recorded sections of it.
The Jonas Brothers performed Waffle House on SNL on April 8, as the musical guest. And it has got us thinking about our favourite Jonas Brothers songs from their back catalogue.
Jonas Brothers Classic Songs
Lovebug
Lovebug, from their 2008 album A Little Bit Longer, is a song that encompassed the Disney Channel childhood. The song and music video was released on the Disney Channel in between episodes of Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place.
This is notable, as it has been revealed that Lovebug was written by Nick Jonas who had fallen for Hannah Montana herself, Miley Cyrus.
In 2012, Nick Jonas said , ‘Although it is not the way I feel at this moment in time, hopefully this gives you a glimpse into what that experience was like for me.’
Sucker
Sucker was the group’s reintroduction to the world after their heart-breaking spilt. Let’s be honest, everyone would have loved whatever they released. It just so happened that Sucker was a great tune as well.
This song has both rock and pop influences with a foot-tapping, head-bopping tune mixed with some amazing falsetto notes. What is not to enjoy?
Sucker spent 22 weeks in Billboard’s top 10 and won a total of six awards across Billboard, MTV and TeleHit.
Burnin’ Up
Ask any Jonas Brothers fan for their top three favourite tunes and Burnin’ Up is bound to be in there. From its catchy melody to the added spice of guitar, this is the ultimate Jonas Brother song.
Fans loved the music video for this song, as it featured another Disney Channel star, Selena Gomez. Burnin’ Up gave the Jonas Brothers their first top-five single on Billboard Hot 100.
Burnin’ Up also has the iconic ‘red dress’ line that fans love to scream at Nick during any and all concerts.
