Being an actor means spending lots of time up close and personal with your costars. And sometimes this can lead to on-screen love seeping into real life! Here are some actors who married their costars.
It was revealed this week that Ben Platt and Noah Galvin, who both played the title character in Dear Evan Hansen, are set to tie the knot. So, it seems only fitting to look back at other stars who have shared the screen or stage.
Rose Leslie and Kit Harrington
Leslie joined Games Of Thrones in season two, as Ygritte, a love interest of Jon Snow played by Harrington. Despite their on-screen relationship ending, the two began dating in real life.
They married in 2018 and Leslie gave birth to their son in 2021.
Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum
This couple met on the set of the dance film Step Up in 2006.
Only three years later Dewan and Tatum married in California.
In 2013, the couple had a daughter. Sadly, in 2019 the couple announced their separation and ultimately divorced.

Grace Gealey and Trai Byers
This couple both started on the American show Empire in 2015. Gealey appeared as Anika Calhoun, and Byers as Andre Lyon.
The pair began a relationship outside of the show and became engaged in 2015. They married in the Cayman Islands in 2016.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
In 2005, Jolie and Pitt starred as a fake couple in Mr. And Mrs. Smith, however this film sparked a real romance.
Despite the couple denying any affairs during the filming, Pitt divorced his then-wife Jennifer Aniston and by 2006, “Brangelina” were expecting a child together. They have six children together: three biological and three adopted.
In 2016, the couple separated.
Colleen Ballinger and Erik Stocklin
In 2016, Ballinger created and starred in Haters Back Off, which centres around her character Miranda Sings. Stocklin appears as her love interest, Patrick in both seasons of the show.
This on-screen relationship then transferred to real life and in 2018 the couple were wed. They have three children together.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck
Garner and Affleck first met on the set of Pearl Harbor in 2001. They need only wait two years to work together again in Daredevil. In 2005, the couple married in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The couple have three children together and separated in 2018.
These are just some of the actors who have married their costars and they show that, sometimes, the chemisty onscreen is equally fierce off it.
