Capital FM has announced the return of its popular festival Summertime Ball, after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, but who is performing?

The one-day festival will return to Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 12 June. Doors open at 12pm, with the event running from 2pm to around 10pm.

Who is in the line up?

Roman Kemp announced on the Capital breakfast show on Monday (25 April) morning that Harry Styles will be headlining the day-long festival. He last played the Summertime Ball with One Direction in 2015.

This comes after the announcement that the singer is headlining BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Coventry in May. The two festivals will kick off Harry’s European leg of ‘Love on Tour’. The concerts will also be sure to feature performances from his upcoming album, ‘Harry’s House‘, out 20 May.

Ed Sheeran will also be joining the former One Direction member on stage at Wembley. The singer is currently on his ‘+ – = ÷ x Tour’.
