The Try Guys co-founder Ned Fulmer confirmed allegations he cheated, but among all the drama there are several celebrity couples that survived similar scandals.
As Dean McDermott once said: ‘I’m not the first person to ever cheat on his wife’ and he was right as over the years tabloids have been littered with numerous rumours and gossip of celebrity cheating scandals, but few confess to actually doing the deed.
Ned Fulmer Cheated
The latest drama is surrounding The Try Guys‘ Ned Fulmer, who has confessed to cheating on his wife, Ariel, after The Try Guys posted on social media that Ned was no longer working with them, took his name out of the group’s bio and replaced their profile picture with their triceratops logo.
The post explained the other Try Guys co-creators – Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld and Eugene Lee Yang – didn’t “see a path forward together.”
Fans then speculated Ned had cheated, which he went on to confirm in a Twitter post:
In the post, he said he’s going to put his focus on his marriage and children. Ned isn’t the first celebrity to be involved with a cheating scandal, there have been several celebs who’ve admitted their infidelities and survived it, coming out the other end still a couple.
Couples that survived celebrity cheating scandals:
Jay-Z and Beyoncé
When Beyonce released Lemonade back in 2016 speculation of infidelity was brewing then just before he released his album, 4:44, Jay-Z opened up about not being faithful to Queen Bey, in an interview with the New York Times, in 2017.
However, the couple seemed to have worked through any issues before he even confessed as the pair revealed they were having their twins that year and they’re still together.
David Letterman and Regina Lasko
Way back in 2009 Daivd Letterman admitted, on air, to having sex with women who worked for him – his assistant Stephanie Birkitt. It turns out Letterman was beating someone else to the exposing the story.
It was revealed after Birkitt’s boyfriend, Robert “Joe” Halderman, a producer at CBS, allegedly tried to extort Letterman for $2 million in exchange for Halderman’s silence. Halderman later pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny and served four of a six-month jail sentence and Letterman and his wife worked through this and are still together.
Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish
First of all Kevin Hart actually denied cheating on his then-pregnant wife Eniko Parrish, in July 2017. Then in September that year he posted an apology to Instagram. Just like Letterman Hart was going to be extorted, according to TMZ, he then confessed to the world in an interview.
However, he and his wife got past is and ended up welcoming a second child into the world in 2020.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith
Although the pair didn’t go through a scandal, Jada Pinkett Smith did confess to sleeping with R&B singer August Alsina while they were separated, during a talk on the Red Table. Alsina had previously claimed Will Smith knew about the affair and gave his ‘blessing’, which Will denied, but said he did know Jada was seeing him.
The relationship with Alsina came to and end when Will and Jada decided they wanted to make it work, which they did and they’re still together.
