Elon Musk’s ex, Grimes, has come out and said dinosaurs were ‘planted by God’ to confuse people and the earth is only 4,000 years old.
The Canadian singer, whose real name is Claire Boucher, is definitely known for making ‘out-there’ statements, but this is a new one for the 34-year-old who shares two children with the billionaire.
Grimes on dinosaurs
In a statement to the Twitter community, yesterday (September 13), Grimes posted what would seem to be creationist views on the world.
The tweet has now had almost 1,500 retweets, over 1,200 quote tweets, 21.4k likes and almost 1,500 comments – some of which are criticising the singer for the statement or responding with sarcastic comments, trolling the star.
Others took to ‘correcting’ the singer about her biblical knowledge saying the earth is ‘more likely 6,000 to 7,000 years old’ rather than the 4,000 Grimes stated.
While another pointed out the statement is similar to that of the Good Omens opening – so maybe Grimes is a superfan binge-watching the series on Prime Video?
Grimes New Music
Although she may be amazing at trolling her 1.3 million followers, Grimes also opened up about her upcoming new music when recently asked about it by fans.
In several tweets Grimes stated her new album was finished and now simply “waiting on approvals for [the] next single and mixing”.
When asked if the record, reportedly called ‘Book 1’ according to an earlier interview, and is “still about AI lesbianism”, Grimes replied that it was “about militarised AI courtesans among other things”.
While discussing the new music Grimes also opened up to fans about a recent “intense medical situation” during the Spring time, which she is now “just getting back to health” from. So the delay in her new music came as a “convient move”, she expalined.
