Joining the sisters on stage at the O2, Taylor said: ‘I haven’t been on stage in a very long time. It’s nice…it’s nice, it’s very nice to be back’.
‘We had a thought. If we were to do some sort of mash-up, we could possibly maybe get you to sing the loudest you have sung all night – which is a big challenge because you have been singing very loudly. Extraordinary work’.
The concert was the final leg of the sister’s ‘One Last HAIM’ tour in the UK, which has visited cities such as Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff.
HAIM and Taylor Swift have multiple collaborations under their belts. Ranging from the country rock ‘No Body, No Crime’ from Swift’s 2020 album Evermore, to the punchy ‘Gasoline’ from HAIM’s album Women In Music Part III.
The group have been friends since around 2014, frequently supporting each other’s music, attending Coachella and going on holidays together. HAIM also opened for Taylor during her 1989 world tour in 2015.
Taylor took to TikTok to share a video backstage, which revealed the group in matching outfits. ‘Hitting copypaste on your friends’ looks like @haimtheband’ the singer captioned the TikTok.
The group each wore black leather trousers along with a black bralette. Taylor wore her hair in a slicked-back braid ponytail and rocked a signature dark lipstick.
