There’s nothing the Internet loves more than a good quiz. Everyone loves to learn more about their personality, even if it’s in a goofy way. Plus, they’re a lot of fun to share with friends and compare results. If a friend tells you they got a certain result on a quiz, it’s hard to resist the temptation to take the quiz yourself and see what you get. That’s how these quizzes spread so quickly and become popular. And the latest one is the soldier, poet or king quiz popularized on TikTok.

The Soldier, Poet or King TikTok Quiz Explained

Inspired by the Oh Hellos song “Soldier, Poet King,” this quiz has a fun fantasy feel. The quiz consists of 20 questions, each of which has three possible responses. Like most quizzes, it’s best to select the response that feels most truthful to you, rather than one that you believe will give you a certain result. But really, how you take the quiz is up to you. It shouldn’t take you more than 10 or 15 minutes, then you’ll have results that you can share with your friends, or on social media.

The test is available to be taken on Uquiz. Each of the 20 questions will prompt you to reveal something about your core values and beliefs. Some of them are rather abstract, such as “The sword…is in your mouth, is in your hands, or is at your side.” The answers may not always be clear, but simply pick the option that aligns the most with your personality. That way, the result will be as accurate as possible. The questions can be rather dark, focusing on topics of fear and violence, but for many, that’s what makes the quiz appealing.

What Do Your Results Mean?

You probably have an idea of what these archetypes could mean before even beginning the test, but they each come with certain intricacies as laid out in the song. Kings are bound by duty, with the heavy burden of power and responsibility. Poets are solitary, wielding the power of the word but tending to underestimate their own strength. Soldiers have physical strength, but run into the risk of being overly self-sacrificing.
