How To Find A Pub Quiz Near You

Molly Raby November 23, 2022

There is nothing better than good pub quiz. But, having said that, there is nothing worse than realising you have missed your local pubs weekly quiz because you didn’t know the correct day! So how do you find a pub quiz near you?

Here are a few good websites you can use in order to make sure you never miss another one.

Weekly Quiz

One of the best websites you can use to find a pub quiz near you is Weekly Quiz. You can search by day or location. For example, if you want to find a quiz in the North West of the UK on a Tuesday, you will be given a list of all the viable options in your area.

If you simply want to look in and around your location, you can search via the map and satellite function. You are presented with a map of the UK, and you can zoom in as far as you want.

There are question marks dotted around the map which indicate a pub quiz in that location. If you click on it, you will be given the event name, pub name and specific address.

In order to make your life even easier, this website will automatically save the pub quiz date and location to your Google Calendar, if you wish.

Pub Quizzers

Another helpful website is Pub Quizzers. Slightly similar to Weekly Quiz, this website sees a map of the UK pinned with quizzes.

If you click on a pin, you will get the pub name, location and (differently to Weekly Quiz) it gives you the time of the quiz and offers “Full Quiz Details”.

“Full Quiz Details” include an email and telephone number to contact the pub or quizzing business, pricing, possible winnings, team limits and other notes about the event.

Of course, you need not go to specific websites dedicated to finding local pub quizzes. A good and simple Google search of “Pub quizzes near me” should bring up enough information for you to find a worthy place to test your brains.
