With a public profile, instead of becoming friends with other users, they can choose to follow you to keep up with the stories you post. You can also add highlights (pinned stories) and lenses for your followers to see.

What Are The Guidelines For A Public Profile?

When public profiles initially became available, only established celebrities and brands could use them. Now, however, public profiles are available for the wider public. The only rules are that you must be 18 or over to create a public profile, and your account has to have been up for more than 24 hours. How To Create A Public Profile

Read through the terms, and if you want to proceed, select ‘Create.’ You will now have a ‘My Public Profile’ tab under your regular profile where you can adjust settings and make changes.
