If you had a personal account and switched to the business version, you can change it back whenever you want.
All you need to do is go to your profile tab and click the three horizontal lines in the top corner. Head into your settings and then account.
Simply select ‘Switch to a personal account’, tapping ‘Switch back’ to confirm your decision.
Your account will then instantly be reverted, but you will lose any insights or analytics data about your profile.
Now, your profile will act just as it did before and you can enjoy using it casually once again.
How To Set up A Business Account On Instagram
Setting up a business account on Instagram is a little more complicated than changing it back, but its still not difficult.
If you’re looking to start a new adventure or just want some extra cash on the side, then an Instagram business is the perfect way to start. You can make sales, advertise and get some serious engagement, plus you’ll have access to your business insights and data too!
Having an Instagram business job can be great for students, as you’re completely in control. You can fit it in around your studies, and it will look great on a CV. Plus, it’s a little extra money on the side to help you along.
To change your account to a business one, go into your settings once again.
Click account, and then ‘Switch to a business account’.
Here, you’ll then need to specify what category your business comes under, then tapping ‘Done’ and then OK to confirm your choice.
Next, you should select ‘Business’ and you’ll then be prompted to enter your contact details. You can skip this if you would rather, as well as the next step, connecting the page to a Facebook account.
Tap the X, and your profile will now be a business account!
You can toggle on/off your business information when editing your profile.
