'I love my sister': Jamie Lynn Spears opens up on her relationship with Britney

Jamie Lynn Spears is going on US television today to discuss her relationship with Britney Spears.

The younger of the two is talking to Good Morning America today and a snippet of the interview has already been released.

The conversation will be a must-watch for many and is likely to generate plenty more headlines in the days to come.

The timing is no coincidence. Jamie Lynn’s autobiography is released later this month; so we can expect her infamous relationship with her sister to generate untold column inches.

In a snippet released prior to broadcast, Jamie Lynn says, ‘I love my sister’.

When asked if things had got complicated, she replies, ‘I guess so.’

Britney was finally freed from her controversial conservatorship in November. Much to the delight of her passionate and countless fans across the globe.

As reported by Page Six, Jamie Lynn has been criticised for not speaking up publicly for her sister while the #freeBritney campaign went on.

Today, in a two-part interview, she has the chance to have her say. The first part of Jamie Lynn’s interview will be aired on Good Morning America in the coming hours. The second part will air this evening (US time) on Nightline.

Who is Jamie Lynn Spears?

Jamie Lynn is a singer and actress who started her acting career alongside her sister in the movie Crossroads.

She later made waves for herself after signing a development deal with Nikelodeon, ultimately starring in Zoey 101.

Since then she has moved into country music and, more recently, she was cast in the Netflix show Sweet Magnolias.
