For years, Pewdiepie was the most followed person on YouTube, however in 2018, T-Series was hot on his heels. The two battled it out for years, with Pewdiepie being the first channel to surpass both 20 million and 50 million subscribers. But, ultimately, T-Series became the first channel to gain 100 million subscribers.
Now it seems there is a new player in the game, going by the name of Mr Beast.
