Love Island runner-up Indiyah Polack has signed a deal with PLT Marketplace following accusations from fans the brand ‘snubbed’ her.

Just a day after announcing she would be the Boots beauty ambassador the 23-year-old has confirmed she’ll be the face of the Pretty Little Thing (PLT) Marketplace.

Love Island Indiyah PLT deal

Indiyah confirmed yesterday, August 30, she would be Boots’ next beauty ambassador and just 24 hours later she said it is a ‘dream come true’ to be PLT’s first-ever ‘Marketplace ambassador’ after she made the announcement on social media.

The band’s Marketplace is a way to buy pre-loved and pre-owned clothing after PLT constantly comes under fire for it’s ‘fast fashion’. Now the brand is promoting the slogan ‘re-sell, re-wear, re-cycle’ as a way to promote the new clothes-buying site.

Fans Accused PLT of ‘Snubbing’ Indiyah

This deal comes after fans accused PLT (Pretty Little Thing) of Snubbing Indiyah when they announced her former co-star, Gemma Owen would be their next brand ambassador.

The daughter of international footballer Michael Owen reportedly signed a six-figure deal with the fast-fashion brand.

However, some fans weren’t too happy with the news after the retailer has previously posted a poll about which contestant would be the perfect ‘PLT doll’, for which Indiyah reportedly received more votes. Fans then accused of just using Indiyah for ‘engagement’.

However, it seems the brand hadn’t actually ‘snubbed’ Indiyah, just had other plans for working with the influencer.
