Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly will soon be Mr and Mrs Baker after the rapper proposed to the 35-year-old actress.

The mother of three confirmed her new relationship status in a detailed Instagram post alongside a romantic video.

In the footage, MGK, real name Colson Baker, can be seen bent on one knee staring lovingly up at Meghan, who appeared surprised.

MGK and Megan were standing in front of a banyan tree that the Transformers star later said the couple had “asked for magic” under.

She said the pair were “unaware” of the “sacrifices” their year-and-a-half relationship would require from one another.

Megan wrote: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.

“Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.

“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.”

Interestingly, Megan added that the pair “drank each other’s blood,” after the proposal which took place on January 11th 2022.

One of Megan’s closet friends, Kourtney Kardashian, responded to the post with a string of red heart emojis.

Kim Kardashian also chimed in, penning: “So happy for u guys!!!!”

A fan of the couple said: “OMG WHATTTT.”

While a second questioned Megan’s choice of words, asking: “Literally the weirdest choice of words… whyyyyy.”

Megan was previously married to Brian Austin Green, with whom she has three children, Bodhi Ransom Green, Noah Shannon Green, Journey River Green.

The couple split in 2019, but kept their separation quiet until Megan started dating MGK in April 2020.

Despite the fact the couple split, Brian said on his With Brian Austin Green podcast that he stills loves the sex symbol.

He said: “I will always love her, and I know she will always love me, and I know as far as a family, what we built is really cool and really special.”
