In an Instagram post, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The adorable black and white video showed the pair on Love Island doing their final speeches and telling each other “they’ll have adventures they haven’t even dreamed of yet” before showing Molly-Mae with a baby bump and Tommy kissing her stomach.
The comments are full of congratulations from celebrities and fans alike. Saffron Barker commented “I am so happy for you both 😭 what truly beautiful parents you will be!!!” While another youtuber, Imogenation, commented “Crying 😭😭😭😭😭so so beyond happy for you both congratulations my angel!”
After the heart-warming announcement, let’s take a look back at Molly-Mae and Tommy’s relationship timeline and where it all began.
Love Island
The pair met back in June 2019, on the fifth series of the reality TV show Love Island. Tommy was an original contestant and Molly-Mae entered as a bombshell on day four, choosing Tommy to go on a date with her. From there, the rest is pretty much history. Despite a few bumps in the road, they remained together through the entirety of the show and eventually declared their love for each other and made it official.
Their relationship faced judgement in the Love Island villa from the outside world. In one challenge, Molly found out that the public thought she was using Tommy for his money, as his brother is professional boxer Tyson Fury.
They stayed strong and finished the show as runners-up, behind winners Greg O’Shea and Amber Rose Gill, who are no longer together. Tommy and Molly are the only couple from that year of the show who are still together.
Molly-Mae instantly thrived in success after the villa, picking up a brand deal with PrettyLittleThing and later becoming a creative director and the face of the brand.
Moving in together
In September 2019, the couple moved in together to a beautiful flat that Molly often shares on her social media. She began to make YouTube videos again, a hobby she had before the island. She shares vlogs of herself and Tommy, giving fans an insight into their life together.
This year, they have bought a house together in Manchester and two cats which Molly documents on her home Instagram account, @mollymaison.
