Selling Sunset never fails to bring us some much loved drama so it’s fair to say that our expectations for Season 5 are high! What better way to get ready for a new season than to cast our minds back to the previous instalments of the hit show and recall some of our favourite moments so far. Here are my top 10 favourite moments that are bound to make you excited for the new season this month.
Christine’s Engagement Party
Christine’s engagement party was ICONIC and makes me want to hire Christine for any event as I’m sure she’d be the perfect party planner. Only Christine Quinn would be EXTRA enough to hire a real life zebra for her party. That’s one way to make sure that all eyes are on you, isn’t it?
Christine’s Wedding
Christine sure does give us her fair share of memorable Selling Sunset moments and her wedding has to be one of the best. I mean… who else has fake snow come down on them whilst their getting married? Her wedding was far from traditional, taking on a gothic aesthetic, but it was most certainly a show in itself! I’m not sure if I’d want swans swarming round me but I could see myself wearing that stunning black dress Christine modelled.
That $75 Million Dollar House
Remember when Davina thought that she could sell that $75 million dollar house? Of course you do. No matter how much she tried to convince Brett and Jason, everyone could see that there was no way she was going to sell that house. Some would call it delusional but Davina would call it aspirational. Either way, it jeopardised her relationship with the agency for quite some time.
Chrishell’s Divorce
Chrishell’s divorce shocked everyone and even Chrishell herself didn’t see it coming! Season three was an emotional one and it was made even worse knowing that Chrishell was offering people coffee dates with her husband at a charity event, just the night before. Imagine finding out that your marriage was over at the same time as the world.
Season Three’s Fight (You Know The One)
Season Three focused on the divorce of Chrishell and Justin Hartley – one that nobody saw coming. While every Selling Sunset viewer felt awful for Chrishell, Christine certainly didn’t share the same level of sympathy. She started blaming Chrishell for the divorce which led to a MASSIVE fight that will go down in reality TV history. Christine lost her friendship with Mary for good that day and the whole vibe of the office was changed for the foreseeable future.
Heather’s Showing
Heather had to attend her partner’s daughter’s birthday party and asked Amanza to take over her showing. Not only was Amanza super late to meet the client, she also revealed to him that Heather was having fun at a party instead of doing her job. How awkward!
The Burgers and Botox Open House
What’s the best way to entice viewers into a house? Well, in the world of Selling Sunset, it would be through holding a burgers and botox party. This combination would never work anywhere else except in the Hollywood Hills. But those who went looked like they were having a good time. We have queen Christine to thank for this idea!
Emma Hernan Joins The Oppenheim Group
Emma’s arrival ruffled some feathers. It’s safe to say that Christine and Emma had some history that made working with each other a challenge. It was to be expected – they both dated the same guy, at the same time! While it may have been an awful situation for the pair, it made season four majorly dramatic.
Romain Bans Davina From His And Mary’s Wedding
Romain calling Davina a ‘snake’ and banning her from his wedding was a moment to remember. The guy doesn’t say much but, when he does, he definitely makes his mark. Everyone loves Romain because we just never know what he’s going to say next.
Mary’s Wedding
Mary and Romain’s wedding was gorgeous and the fact that Mary was selling the house that she got married in was also iconic! The setting was beautiful. But what made this a moment to remember was that Mary never stopped working, even hours before her wedding. She had the capability to show a client around the house (which was also her venue) and then get married in it. That is a power move, right there.
