There are no shortages of amazing comedy films. After all, we all love a good laugh. But, there are only so many times you can rewatch Bridesmaid’s, or Wayne’s World, or even Borat, whatever floats your boat. Sometimes you just really want something new. So, order your favourite takeaway, close the curtains, and get comfy on your couch. Senior Year is here, and it’s the new comedy you have been waiting for.
What is Senior Year about?
This new Netflix original comedy follows a high-school cheerleader, Stephanie Conway, as she gets ready for prom, only to fall into a coma. She wakes up twenty years later, ready for the event, but not in high school anymore. She aims to return to her high school, reclaim her once top tier cheerleader status and ultimately become the prom queen.
This is Alex Harcastle’s directorial debut, so we can only hope to see more amazing work by him in the years to come. Wilson is credited as a producer on this film, alongside Todd Garner, Timothy Bourne and Chris Bender.

Other cast members include Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Sam Richardson (Veep), Zoe Chao (The Afterparty), Mary Holland (Happiest Season) and Justin Hartley (This Is Us).
