Mint Julep

  • 5 sprigs of mint
  • 2 oz Bourbon whiskey
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Dash of bitters
  • Ice

While it’s often associated with horse racing, there’s no reason this refreshing drink can’t be used to celebrate St. Patrick’s day, too. It’s easy to make, with a simple yet delicious flavour profile. To make a Mint Julep, pour your Bourbon, syrup, and bitters into a shaker and add the mint. Shake, and then strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Then, stir, top with more ice, and stir again.

  • 3 1/2 oz vodka
  • 2 oz apple schnapps
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz apple juice
  • Green apple slices

For those who love a sour and sweet flavour profile, the Appletini is another great St Patrick’s day cocktail. Not only is it tart and tasty, but it also has a stunning green colour which is perfect for the occasion. To make an Appletini mix the vodka, schnapps, lemon juice and apple juice in a shaker and pour into martini glasses. Top with apple slices and serve.

Luck Of The Irish

  • 2 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1 oz peach schnapps
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 oz lime soda
  • Green food colouring
  • Maraschino cherries

What could be more apt for a St Patrick’s Day cocktail than the Luck Of The Irish? This fruity drink is the perfect way to get a party started. Mix your whiskey, schnapps, and juice in a shaker along with 2 drops of food colouring. Then, pour into a glass and top with lime soda and a cherry.
