Tastiest Homemade Hangover Meals

The day after a big night out, or after celebrating something special, food is definitely at the very top of the priority list. However, for those like myself who can’t always break the budget and afford takeaway, here are some cheap and easy homemade hangover meals! These will leave you feeling fulfilled as you hunker down for a cosy day in front of the television.

Pasta is the best cure!

This is a staple hangover cure, and here are some of my favourite mixes to include.

Put in a whole block of feta surrounded by cherry tomatoes in the oven while you allow your pasta to boil. This will create a creamy and delicious sauce in only 20 minutes.

This will leave you full and content as you replenish your energy levels with this cheesy tomato dish.

Additionally, just go for a jar of a cheap pasta sauce from Sainsbury’s or Tesco’s, then cover this with a sprinkle of cheese and black pepper to create a tasty yet simple comfort dish! You can rely on this for those early lunches that you are so desperately craving.

Homemade fry-up

Waking up and craving greasy food is not out of the ordinary, so making sure you have egg, bacon, mushrooms, and hash browns is essential.

Put in the oven the bacon and hash browns, as you watch your egg sizzle and mushrooms fry. This will allow for you to start your day off with a huge fry up for you and your housemates.

This is something that you cannot get wrong, as a fry-up is one of the easiest and tastiest meals to create following a big night out.

A huge bowl of stir fry

For those who crave something a little bit more nutritious and need to replenish their vitamins and nutrients after a big evening out, this dish is definitely for you.

Put some rice noodles on to boil, chop up courgette, red pepper, broccoli, tomatoes, and even put in a pot of chickpeas. This will get you your five a day as you enjoy a tasty warm bowl of comfort food.

Bacon and egg bagel

Similar to the fry-up, toast a bagel, fry bacon and egg, and then create this sandwich as old as time. The bonus, it will only take around 10 minutes. This will be worth it as you sit down and enjoy this warm delicacy that cannot be beaten!
