If the job puts you off, you could travel and be an au pair or even teach! There are a few options for travelling and working.

Who doesn’t want to spend their summer being a movie star? Okay, well maybe not a star, but it’s still a cool brag. We actually recommended this as a flexible job to fit around your studies, however, you can earn even more doing it during the summer. You can work on a bigger project, or take up lots of little ones; the opportunities with this a great.

The days will probably be long, but you’ll make some great memories and friends. Plus, it pays pretty well.

This is a great way to get some money if you’re a music lover. Sure, you won’t have as much freedom as just going to a festival, but free entry is even better. Lots of these gigs are volunteer work, but some do pay so keep an eye out.

It’s a pretty diverse job as well. You could be working on bars, giving out wristbands or picking up little. But it’s all worth it so you don’t have to pay for expensive tickets!

This job is easy enough, and spending time with pets can be great for your mental health. You’ll be able to build a bond with the kids or pets and make the job really enjoyable. Plenty of parents still need to work during the summer holidays, so babysitters or childminders are still in demand.

This could also be great experience if you want to go into a career in childcare!

This is great if you’ve wanted to live in a particular city and see all the sights. You’ll need to be prepared to work with big groups and be a good speaker. Plus, you’ll need to be to keep calm and polite too. That being said, it’s a great job for being out in the sun and meeting new people.

Tourist attraction workers are heavily in demand during the summer, so think of a place you might want to become an expert in and take a look at the opportunities.
