The Best Vegan Meal Deal Options

As prices for meal deals become all the more tempting, especially in Sainsbury’s, ASDA, and Tesco, grabbing yourself a main, a snack, and a drink all for £3 – £3.50 is too tempting to miss out on just because you are a vegan.

Of course, the vegan diet has been catered to, and I have tried them all, so you don’t have to!

Here are the ones I would highly suggest, and what is the best value for money.

Vegan Sushi

This is a box dish that will not disappoint. Just because you are vegan doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy the freshness of a sushi option.

The vegan selection tends to include six pieces of maki, ranging from filling such as carrots, cucumber, and beetroot. Then you can enjoy the vegan nigiri. This is rectangular rice covered with some sort of sweet pastry. It is truly delicious, and the sweetness compliments the soya sauce really well.

This is one of my favourite meal deal options as it is light, healthy, and so well priced! I would rate this 4/5 as the sweet pastry vegan edition is so good.

Vegan Steak Sub

This sandwich is only available as ASDA and is one of my favourites when I’m craving something filling. It can be enjoyed warm or cold, so do whatever takes your fancy.

This is a juicy meat substitute on a fluffy white sub roll. This only costs £2.75. It’s a steal if you can get your hands on it.

I would rate this 3/5 as it is quite a challenging sandwich to finish, due to its chewy filling. But it is a tasty treat, especially on those hungrier days.

Boots Vegan Southern Fried Chicken Wrap

For those who love a wrap for their lunchtime treat, do not fear. This is a vegan wrap that is just as good as all the other regular-diet wraps.

This chicken substitute is tasty so, just because you are vegan, doesn’t mean you have to eat food that isn’t filling! Overall, I would give this wrap 4/5 as it is one of the most filling options I have described.

Make sure to get yourself to your local shops and try their vegan meals, as they are healthier, and much better for yourself and the environment too!
