The Fashion Trends To Follow This Autumn

Francesca Herring October 15, 2022

The seasons of Autumn and Winter 2022 are officially upon us, meaning AW22 fashion trends are in full swing. Several fashion weeks have just finished across the globe, and some new trends are here. Whether it’s been on the runway or trending on TikTok, here are some of the fashion trends to follow this autumn.

The copper hair trend

This is a trend that has been doing the rounds on TikTok for a while now, and it’s officially resurfaced. Lots of people are choosing to go copper this autumn to match the neutral vibes in clothing this season. The trend on TikTok has proved that just about anybody can go copper if they want to. It looks great! So, if you fancy quite a drastic change, this is one trend for you.

Cargo pants

If you’re a regular visitor to Urban Outfitters, you’ll know that cargo pants are taking over the autumn trends. They’re a very versatile piece of clothing. They go great with jumpers and baggy tops, or crop tops and vests! When the weather gets colder, a pair of baggy cargos will keep you warm!

Lots and lots of neutrals

A trend that makes a comeback every year. Autumn is the perfect time to dial back your colour palette and embrace some plainer colours. White, brown, beige and black are perfect at this time of the year. They compliment the turning colour of leaves on the trees and dark days.

Layering

Not only is this a great looking trend, it is incredibly practical for the cold weather. A jumper layered with a scarf and gilet looks great and will keep you very warm. If you layer different coloured clothes you end up showcasing a big colour palette while still looking neutral and autumnal.

Gilets

For when it’s cold, but not cold enough, wear a gilet! They look great with a jumper and cargos and will keep you just warm enough. Most shops have large gilet lines this autumn because people are going crazy for them!
