Spotify launched SuperGrouper this week. What is that you may ask? Well, SuperGrouper is a new Spotify feature that allows you to create your own superstar band.
Put together your favourite artists and create a band name that will wow fans. It’s all a bit of fun, giving people the platform to create the craziest of combos. Let’s take a look at some of the best ones that people have created so far.
Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendez and Ariana Grande. There’s a combo that just seems to go together so perfectly. I can just imagine Shawn making an appearance on Justin and Ari’s hit single, Stuck With U and come on, of course it would be an absolute tune!
Ed Sheeran, Khalid and James Arthur. The three artists you would never expect to be in a band together, each with music that is just so different in style. Saying that… I really think that this could work you know! I would love to see a collab like this actually happen.

This fan has created a band out of Jack Antonoff, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lorde, Taylor Swift and Rina Sawayama! Perhaps the most exciting thing of all with this one is the fact that Carly Rae and Tay would be performing together. Imagine Taylor Swift singing Call Me Maybe? Oh how I’d love to be in the crowd for this one.
Unbeatable. Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé. This would soooo work. If there ever was going to be a Destiny’s Child revamp then this would be it. However, I can’t help thinking that these queens would do everything in their power to try to outshine each other.
Miley, Miley and… Miley. How would this even work though? Would Miley have two holograms of herself on stage with her? I have so many questions. I can’t decide whether this band is genius or not?
Olivia Rodrigo, Avril Lavinge, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift. ICONIC. Just imagine if this was real. Tickets for their gigs would sell out so fast. Now that Katy and Taylor have actually put their feud aside can we please have them collab together. This band would literally be out of this world.
Am I getting Déjà Vu? We all know that if One Direction were to make a comeback then Harry would be the lead. Each of these roles are spot on! I thought this was just all a bit of fun but now I tearing up with major nostalgia right now. Someone pass me the tissues.
I think that this band should just simply be titled, The Legends. Snoh Aalegra, Frank Ocean, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. The ultimate powerhouse of bands. They’d get to number one in the charts every week.
The fact that we’ll never get to witness these all performing together is enough to make you cry.
