Nothing says Christmas like a festive Costa drink! When they change their takeaway cups from their bog-standard maroon colour, to jolly Christmas scenes of snow men or elves, you know Christmas is here. So what drinks are on Costa’s Christmas menu in 2022?
Toblerone-Inspired Drinks
This year, Costa is going all out. It has been announced that the coffee shop will be releasing two new festive drinks inspired by the classic treat: Toblerone.
The first Toblerone-inspired drink is a brand-new latte. This take on a classic coffee sees your latte drizzled with a honey and chocolate-flavoured sauce, topped with whipped cream and Christmassy “twinkle toppers”.
The drink also comes with a miniature Toblerone chocolate bar.
The second of these drinks is a Toblerone-inspired hot chocolate. In this case, the honey and chocolate-flavoured sauce has been blended together with hot chocolate powder, so you truly taste the amazing fusion of these flavours.
The drink is then finished with the same staple whip cream, “twinkle toppers” and a mini Toblerone bar.

Terry’s Chocolate Orange
Much to everyone’s delight, Costa are bringing back their famous Terry’s Chocolate Orange hot chocolate this year.
Additionally, the Terry’s Chocolate Orange muffin will be back in our favourite coffee shop this Christmas too. This is no ordinary muffin, no. This one is filled with Terry’s Chocolate Orange sauce, drizzled with icing and topped with a segment of the classic chocolate treat.
According to Leicestershire Live, both of the Toblerone drinks can be found in over 12,000 Costa Express machines. Similarly, the Terry’s hot chocolate can be purchased in over 500 selected Shell sites across the country.

- Toblerone hot chocolate
- Terry’s Chocolate Orange hot chocolate
- Gingerbread latte coffee in a can
- Gingerbread and cream latte
All of Costa’s Christmas drinks will be available from 3 Novemeber.
Alongside the new drinks menu, Costa are bringing back some fan favourite treats. These includes the pigs in blankets panini, turkey feast sandwich, turkey and trimmings toastie and the bacon and cranberry panini.
On the festive food menu, there is also a reindeer muffin, Santa gingerbread biscuit and a crispy festive wreath.
