There’s nothing quite like a cheeky Nando’s after the uni day to make that assignment stress go away. But what’s even better, is getting money off. Nando’s student discount is back and we can tell you how much it is when it is and how you can get it. Time to book a table we think!
If you’ve had a stressful day at university, need to catch up with your housemates after the festive break, or just can’t face cooking, there’s only one thing for it — Nando’s! Whatever spice you can handle, or whether you’re a chips or rice person, Nando’s student discount means getting some great chicken and more for even cheaper. You can’t go wrong, really.
How Much Is Nando’s Student Discount?
Nando’s student discount is a huge 20 per cent off. You can’t spend more than £50, but that still means getting £10 off your meal. Whether you’re out with friends or just *really* hungry for some chicken, that £10 saving makes all the difference when you’re a student.
If your toes are tapping at the thought of chicken tonight, then we can also tell you how to get the Nando’s student discount. If you don’t already have a Nando’s account, then you’ll need to create one. It’s as simple as entering your name, email and password, and then deciding if you want to keep up to date with their marketing. Don’t worry, you don’t have to have signed up with your university email address.
If you go through the student discount page, you’ll then be prompted to enter your university email address. Nando’s will then ask you when you started and when you’ll graduate. After that, you’ll need to verify your email through a link sent to it. And hey presto! You’ve got the Nando’s student discount for 12 months. Once a year is up, you’ll then need to re-verify it again.
Nando’s isn’t available on UniDays and it’s not certain whether showing your ID would be enough. To make sure you get the savings, attach your uni email to your account even if you have other verification.
What Days Can You Get Nando’s Student Discount?
The discount is available from Mondays to Wednesdays, 11:30 am to 5 pm. So, if you have an afternoon off of lecturers or want something a little taste for lunch, then that’s when you can use the student discount.
There are a couple of other stipulations to getting the savings too. Unfortunately, it’s not for delivery orders and only works when you dine in and order at the table using either the QR code or the app. So make sure you have it downloaded before you go in.
The discount can only be used once a day as well. So, if you were thinking of using it for lunch and dinner for half the week, you may have to limit your Nando’s intake a little.
The website doesn’t specify if the discount is only on for a few months, but the longevity of the verification suggests it may be a permanent addition. That being said, we all know that we can’t get Nando’s off our minds for dinner tonight, now.
Have a look at the menu and book your table to make the most of the Nando’s student discount.
