Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities drops on Netflix soon with a hugely talented cast, including Ben Barnes – who you might not recognise from his previous roles.
The four-day, double-episode event is set to drop on the streaming site on October 25 with the tales debuting daily through October 28 to get viewers ready for the Halloween season.

Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet Of Curiosities features an outstanding number of incredible actors and actresses across its eight episodes, of which Del Toro is involved with all of them.
Plot details of each episode are being kept tightly under wraps, but the names of each episode have been released and give some slight indication of what each episode will be about.

Featuring in the series is former Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint, however, it’s not been confirmed what character he will play, but he does star in episode one ‘Dreams in the Witch House’.
Essie Davis, known for her work on the series The White Princess, also stars as a mother who lost her daughter, in episode six, ‘The Murmuring’, and Luke Roberts, who played Ser Arthur Dayne in Game of Thrones, will be playing the character Poe Allen, a popular and well-liked miner, in episode five ‘The Autopsy’.
Ben Barnes in Cabinet of Curiosities
Ben Barnes stars in episode four, ‘Pickman’s Model’, as the character Thurber – but if you’re thinking Barnes looked familiar that’s because the 41-year-old English actor isn’t new to the game.
The London-born performer made his first feature film debut in 2007 with the movie Stardust, during which he played a young Dunstan Thorn, before going on to gain recognition in his next big hit The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.
In the movie, he played the titular character and the role earned him nominations from the 2008 National Movie Awards for Best Male Performance, the 2008 Teen Choice Awards for Choice Movie Breakout Male, and the 2009 MTV Movie Awards for Best Breakthrough Male.
Barnes then starred as the title role in Dorian Gray, a film adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s novel, directed by Oliver Parker and released in September 2009.
However, Barnes is probably most familiar for his roles as Logan Delos in Westworld, Billy Russo/Jigsaw in the Marvel series The Punisher, and The Darkling in the Netflix series Shadow and Bone.
