Each year it seems to come around just that much quicker, but it’s time for the Golden Globes yet again. They are awarded to honour the best in American film and TV throughout the previous year, as voted for by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and here is everything you need to know about the Golden Globes 2023?

When Are The Golden Globes?
This year will see the first Golden Globes Awards since 2021. Last year’s ceremony was halted due to the lack of diversity in the HFPA’s nominees and the voting board was criticised. Several companies cut ties with the HFPA after the criticism continued. However, after the association’s new commitment to inclusivity and change, the event will resume this year on Tuesday 10 January.
The Golden Globes are typically held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California, and this year is no different.
The event will be streaming on Peacock and NBC at 5pm PST and 8pm EST. UK viewers can watch the awards on Now Entertainment or Sky, beginning at 1am on Wednesday 11 January.

Who Will Be Hosting?
For the first time ever, Jerrod Carmichael will be hosting the Golden Globes. Carmichael is an American stand-up comedian whose show, Rothaniel, was directed by fellow comedian Bo Burnham. He won an Emmy-award for that show and was nominated for another Emmy for guest hosting SNL.
