If you think someone might have unadded you on Snapchat, it can be something of an awkward situation. Since the app doesn’t notify you when it happens, you don’t know for sure if it was intentional or whether it happened through some kind of glitch. You don’t want to ask directly, but you still want to know what’s going on. Not to worry — there is a solution that doesn’t require you to ask that uncomfortable question. Here are some ways to tell if someone unadded you on Snapchat.
Check Your Friends List
One easy way to see if someone has unadded you is to check your list of friends on the app. To do this, open up Snapchat and tap on your profile. Then, scroll down until you see all of the bitmojis of your friends and select ‘my friends.’ This will allow you to look through your full list of friends. If they are no longer on the list, that means they’ve unadded you.

Check The Chat Window
Another way you can tell if someone has unadded you is by using the chat window. Select the chat option at the bottom of the screen and locate your conversation with the person in question. If you see a ‘pending’ message in this last chat or if it is indicated by a grey arrow, that means the person has unadded you.
Search For Their Username
Another strategy is to use the search bar to search for the person’s username. This can be especially helpful if you have many contacts on the app that are difficult to scroll through. However, if you don’t remember the person’s handle, you may be out of luck for this one.
Check Their Snap Score
You can also determine if someone is still in your friends list through their snap score. Use the search bar in the top left of the app and type in their username. Select their account and then look at their profile. If their snap score appears under their icon, that means they are still in your friends list.
Check Your Stories
Finally, you can look at stories. Tap the icon at the bottom with the two figures. From there, you will be able to see all of the stories available to you. If the person in question has posted a story recently, it will appear under ‘friends’ if they are still following you and ‘subscriptions’ if they are not.
