One of the biggest developments in the Snapchat app recently has been the introduction of MyAI. With tech companies all over the world racing to get the latest and greatest in AI technology, MyAI is Snapchat’s way of joining the trend. This chatbot has sparked the curiosity of many users, answering questions of all kinds. However, if you don’t want to use this bot, or just aren’t into AI in general, you may want to know how to unpin it from your feed of messages. Here is how to unpin MyAI on Snapchat.
What Is MyAI?
MyAI is an AI based chatbot available to Snapchat users. It is built with OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology, and was first announced on April 19th. Unlike a search engine, it can respond to more complex queries, such as “What should I have for breakfast today?” or “Can you help me plan a ski trip?” It appears in a user’s list of chat conversations on the app. While some users have enjoyed the feature, others are not so keen. As a result, many want to know how to remove MyAI from the top of their chat feed to return it to how it was previously, where the friends that they’ve messaged or have received messages from most recently go to the top of the feed.

Why Can’t I Unpin MyAI?
Unfortunately, if you don’t have Snapchat+, the app’s premium subscription, you can’t unpin the chatbot. So while you don’t need to use MyAI, it will still appear as one of your message recipients in your feed of chats at the top.
How To Unpin MyAI On Snapchat
If you do have Snapchat+, here is how you can unpin MyAI. First, open the app, and then navigate to the chat screen by selecting the speech bubble icon at the bottom or swiping left from your camera. Then, find MyAI and hold down on it. Choose the “Chat Settings” option and then “Clear from Chat Feed.” Now, MyAI will no longer be visible on your feed.
However, if you want MyAI to remain on your chat feed, just not pinned to the top, there’s another approach you can take. Go to the Snapchat+ management screen, and then simply toggle off MyAI. That way, MyAI will be placed accordingly to how often you use it, rather than automatically being at the top of your feed.
