New Girl: Christmas Eve Eve (Season 6 Episode 10)

The episode emphasises that sometimes family can be friends as well.

Friends: The One With the Holiday Armadillo (Season 7 Episode 10)

What is more classic than a Friends Christmas episode? And this one in Season 7 might be the most memorable of all.

In this episode Ross wants to give Ben an insight into what Hanukkah is like, so he dresses up as the holiday Armadillo. But then Chandler comes along dressed as Santa making Ben a little confused about what holiday he is learning about.

But then comes Joey dressed as Superman and, as Phoebe puts it, it’s like the Easter bunny’s funeral.

Throw in some drama between Jonah and Garrett and you’ve got the perfect holiday episode. Superstore is bound to make you laugh at the absurdity of it all.

Ted Lasso: Carol of the Bells (Season 2 Episode 4)

People often forget Ted Lasso because it’s on a different streaming platform, but it is such a fun series. And fans cannot wait to see it return for a third season.

An American living in London, what could go wrong?

Ted Lasso gets the Love Actually treatment. He starts off feeling a little blue but he joins Rebecca to hand out presents and spread some holiday spirit.

Christmas is cancelled. In the Dunphy household at least.

So say Phil and Claire when they find a burn mark on the couch from what seems to be a cigarette. Until one of their children confesses to their wrongdoings, Christmas is cancelled. On the other hand, Jay is hesitant to go along with Manny and Gloria’s Christmas celebrations.

Meanwhile, Mitchell and Cameron take Lily to meet Santa but, in pure Modern Family fashion, it never goes as planned. Modern Family will make you laugh, cry and feel all the emotions.

Big Bang Theory: The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis (Season 2 Episode 11)

Leonard starts working with a new colleague and, for a scientist, he does not look like one. Soon after Penny starts dating the new handsome colleague. Things don’t really go to plan though.

Later Sheldon irritates everyone with his gift-giving etiquette.

However, a saturnalia miracle happens when Sheldon gives Penny a hug after a memorable gift. And Sheldon goes off to clone Leonard Nimoy.

All in good Big Bang Theory fashion.

There are many more Christmas episodes and each series has a multitude of festive offerings but these are the best festive sitcom episodes. Christmas and the holiday season are the perfect time to re-watch them so what are you waiting for?
