Who Is Frank Hackett?
Grandad Frank, whose real name is Frank Hackett, is a viral TikTok and YouTube star from Ireland. He first began making videos when his daughter, Kiera back in 2019.
Though Kiera, now 18 comes up with ideas, it’s Frank who has become the star, loved by over 7 million followers on TikTok.
Taking part in all the viral trends and dances, as well as sharing insight into his happy life, his videos always go down a treat.
When speaking to This Morning late last year, Frank said he’s always loved performing.
“‘I was always kind of a performer, always singing and dancing so it was just natural to do it.”
Before TikTok, the 77-year-old grandad was a school bus driver, and a postman and also worked in a cinema. He has three children and three grandchildren and was one of seven siblings! Now he makes videos with his granddaughter, it’s clear that family is very important to Frank.
TikTok’s Grandad Frank Makes Wholesome Viral Videos
It would be a little unfair to talk about how great Grandad Frank’s videos are without letting you see some of them. Usually, the content gets tens of thousands of views, but a few make it up into the millions.
The following got a huge 9 million views. In it, Frank gets his wife of over 54 years involved to recreate the Zootopia meme.
All the commenters couldn’t get over how cute it was, with one even saying it was “the best one.”
Another, with almost 2 million views captures exactly how we all feel when we see the slow cooker out on the side.
Grandad Frank proved he was smarter than all of us by completing this task immediately.
This trend was iconic, even more so because the unconventional influencer got involved. We love the support of his wife Julie, and so do the 2.5 million others who have watched it!
This video with 7 million views that Frank and Julie are absolute couple goals and we can’t get enough of their relationship.
