Just as Disney+ was finding its footing, WandaVision was released on the platform and had everyone gripped. But who is in the WandaVision spinoff?
The final episodes saw Agatha Harkness’ true intentions come to light and to be honest, we loved it. Now, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is creating a spin-off for the witch, Agatha: Coven Of Chaos.
MCU projects are notoriously kept under wraps, on a exclusivley need-to-know basis, but here is what we know so far.
Who Has Been Cast In WandaVision Spinoff?
Aubrey Plaza
One of the people confirmed to be joining the cast is Aubrey Plaza. She is best known for her role as April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation and can now be seen in the second series of the HBO show The White Lotus.
This is not Plaza’s first taste of being in the world of all-thing’s supernatural. She appeared in the FX X-Men series, Legion, where she played the psychic mutant, Lenny Busker.

Whilst Busker died in the first episode of season two, they did return as the powerful mutant Amahl Farouk inside David Haller’s mind.
It is assumed that this character will not have any major impact on the Coven Of Chaos’ timeline, as Plaza would not have been cast if Busker was referenced.

Joe Locke
Another big name that has been confirmed is Heartstopper’s Joe Locke. He shot to fame after his TV debut in the Netflix series in April 2022.
People are speculating that Locke will play an older version of Wanda’s son Billy, who possess strong magic, like his mother.

Emma Caulfield Ford
When talking with Vanity Fair, actress Emma Caulfield Ford revealed that she will be reprising her role as Dottie Jones for the spin-off series.
Who is Agatha Harkness?
Agatha Harkness was introduced to us in WandaVision as a cheeky, nosy neighbour. However, we eventually find out that she is a witch from centuries ago, looking to absorb Wanda’s magic.
Whilst she is painted as the villain of this particular narrative, in the comics where she originated, she is seen to be an ally to other heros.
Kathryn Hahn plays Agatha and has said that this spin-off came as a “total surprise”.
When talking to Radio Times she said, “I mean, you’d have to be a deep diving… comic book aficionado to know Agatha Harkness from the comics. I had never heard of her before. And so the fact that this is happening is just testament to the incredible writing [and] the, you know, weird timing. It’s so bananas.”
