Always looking for new ways to analyse our listening habits, we now have Spotify Icebergify. Go beneath the surface with your top tracks and artists and see just how obscure your music taste is with the iceberg graphic.
We’re still a little way from Spotify Wrapped 2023, but luckily there are a few ways to get your music data before then. We’ve already told you about the Spotify Pie Chart and Receiptify, but that’s not all you can do whilst you wait.
Now, you can make your own Spotify Iceberg to see how deep your taste really goes.
What Is Icebergify?
Spotify Icebergify looks at your music taste and collates it into a graphic based on how popular or niche your top artists are.
The iceberg will have different levels depending on the popularity of the artists that you listen to. More than that, the site will analyse artists you’ve listened to recently, most frequently or one you listened to once a while ago. The site looks at your top 50 artists. The most popular (most streams) will be at the top of the iceberg. The more obscure artists are towards the bottom.
Not just based on what you’ve been listening to, Spotify Icebergify takes your likes, shares, created playlists and even more data into account.

How To Create Your Spotify Iceberg
Creating your Spotify Iceberg couldn’t be easier as you can do it from your computer or your phone.
For both, simply visit the Icebergify website and select ‘Create yours’. You’ll have to agree to the site’s terms and conditions (basically that you’re letting them access your data) before logging in to your account. You can do this directly, or through your Google or Apple account.
Once it’s been authorised, give the site a few moments to generate your iceberg! First, you’ll be shown your monthly iceberg. However, by clicking ‘all time Iceberg’ at the top of the page, you can see your artists across the years.
If you’re happy with the results, you can even share your Spotify Iceberg on social media. There’s no share or download button. However, if you right-click or hold on the graphic then you can save the image to your device. You can also copy the image and paste it to your desired social media profile to immediately share it with your friends.
Spotify Wrapped is usually brutal enough by showing just how addicted to an artist you were. That wasn’t helped when Spotify personalities came along and didn’t hold back what kind of listener you were. If you’ve recovered from those, then give the Spotify Iceberg a try. If it turns out your taste is niche, then you can always brag about it to your friends when their artists are the same as everyone else.
