Sunday’s show saw Matt Hancock, Owen Warner and Jill Scott battle out to become the new champion of I’m A Celebrity. Now we’re back in Australia, stuff we’ve missed out on in the last couple of years has returned. One of which is the I’m A Celebrity Coming Out Show which is returning as we know it in 2022.
Another series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is over, with a winner crowned on Sunday. Fans across the nation will be wondering what will fill their evenings now the reality show is over. Don’t worry, the 2022 series isn’t quite over yet. In the finale, Ant and Dec confirmed that there will be a coming out show and it’s probably sooner than you think.
Who Won I’m A Celebrity?
The finale was between actor Owen Warner, politician Matt Hancock and Lioness Jill Scott. However, it was the sportswoman who became our new Queen of the jungle.
The show saw the three partake in their own trials to win the famous feast. Jill had to lie in a cage with rats, getting stars off with her tongue. Owen, unsurprisingly, got the eating trial. The Hollyoaks actor had complained about his hunger throughout the series. Clearly, his empty stomach had numbed him during the last trial as he surprised Ant and Dec by enjoying the fermented egg. Let’s just hope that he enjoyed his last meal more…
MP Matt Hancock had to put his head in a container as it filled with water and frogs, eels, spiders and more. The politician had to stay there for five minutes to win desserts for the three of them and his own drink and treat.
It was then Matt who was voted third by the public, leaving the battle between Owen and Scott. Neither of them showed a desperateness to win, but it was the Lioness who won the public’s heart the most as she became Queen of the jungle.

When Is The I’m A Celebrity Coming Out Show 2022?
Typically, after each series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, there is a follow-up show. The celebrities talk more about their experience in the jungle and what they’ve been up to since their departure.
The contestants this year included Love Island star Olivia Attwood, who had to leave early due to medical reasons. The other contestants were Sue Cleaver, Chris Moyles, Babatunde Aleshe, Jill Scott, Mike Tindall, Charlene White, Owen Warner, Scarlette Douglas and Boy George. Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh joined the campmates two days after as latecomers, taking part in secret mole tasks to win treats for camp. The celebrities will give fans more gossip and insight into their time in the jungle, filmed as each were voted off.
On Sunday’s show, Ant and Dec confirmed that the coming out show 2022 will be on Thursday, December 1. It will air at 9.15 pm on ITV.
I’m A Celebrity All Stars Series
If the coming out show isn’t enough, then a new series of the show is probably sooner than you think. It was confirmed earlier this year that a special series of I’m A Celebrity will air early in 2023.
The series, which has already been filmed in South Africa, sees fan favourite ex-campmates return to our screens once more. Though it will certainly be different from the regular series, it promises to be just as entertaining.
Our favourite Geordie hosts took to Instagram to confirm and explain the special series. Don’t worry though, they’ll still be a regular series in Australia next autumn too.
