How To Change Your Bitmoji
If you’re using Snapchat, then you’ll definitely know what a Bitmoji avatar is. They’re fun to make and are a lot more interesting than using a standard profile picture. However, over time it’s pretty likely that you’ll want to edit it to match your style, haircut or even just your summer tan.
Since Snapchat acquired the idea, you can edit your avatar through the Bitmoji or Snapchat app.
Recently, a lot of users found that Snapchat Games were gone, including Bitmoji Party.
On either, head to ‘Edit my Bitmoji’ to change more superficial features of your character. This can be hair type and colour, outfit, facial features and more. Once you’re done, hit save and your avatar will be updated. If you’ve edited it through the Bitmoji app, you may need to refresh Snapchat or give it a couple of minutes for the new and improved Bitmoji to appear.
Whilst you’re there, you could also make your Snapchat profile public, or even add your birthday so that your friends are in the know.
How To Change Gender On Snapchat
Whilst changing the gender on Snapchat is a little trickier, it’s definitely doable.
Unfortunately, the change cannot be done by editing your Bitmoji and you will have to create a new one. First, you’ll need to unlink your current avatar; you’ll be asked to confirm your decision. For the time being, your profile will be without a Bitmoji, but you just need to create a new one to change gender on Snapchat. Then, you’ll have one that’s a little more accurate.
You can do that through Snapchat or the Bitmoji app and then link it to your profile once you’re done! It’s a great opportunity for your character to represent who you are, or just correct a silly error.
If you create it through Snapchat then the change is immediate. If you’ve changed the gender on Bitmoji then it will change as soon you link the avatar.
