How To Submit And Fill In The TikTok Feedback Form Through App And Web

Jasmyne Jeffery March 8, 2023

For the amount of time we all spend on TikTok, there are things that are bound to go wrong. If you find an issue within the app or on the web, then luckily you can report a problem. Whilst the issue may not be immediately fixed, here’s how to fill in the TikTok feedback form so it can be looked into.

Normally, scrolling through your For You page is a pretty seamless experience. You might experience the odd buffering, or ‘post is processing‘ message, but normally it works as it should. However, that isn’t always the case. Particularly if you’re using one of their new features, like TikTok Series. or the screentime limit. If you do encounter a problem, then you can submit it straight to the app.

How To Report A Problem

You can report a problem on TikTok through the app itself. First, go to your profile and click the 3 horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner. This will bring up a pop-up menu, from which you need to select ‘Settings and privacy.’

From there, scroll down until you get to the ‘Support’ subsection where the first option will be ‘Report a problem.’ You’ll then be given a whole bunch of topics and common issues that users have encountered on the app, so just find the one that fits your issue the best.

Once you’ve found a topic that covers your problem, you’ll be offered even more specific issues. If your problem isn’t covered, you can select ‘other’ instead. TikTok will then offer some advice for you to try out, even if your exact issue hasn’t been found.

If you find your problem isn’t fixed, you can email them directly and they’ll assist you further.

On the web, just head to the ‘Share your Feedback’ TikTok website, and it should be the first option that comes up. You’ll then be directed to a form where you’ll need to fill in your contact information, the topic that concerns your issue and feedback of over 50 characters to help explain the problem.

You will also have the option to upload up to 10 screenshots of the problem if you think it will help. After that, it’s a case of declaring that what you’re submitting is true and that TikTok will process your data.

Users can also fill in the TikTok feedback form through the social media app, instead of going through the web.

All you need to know is to go through the ‘Report a problem’ steps. When asked if your issues were solved, click ‘Need more help’. At that point, you’ll be redirected to the share your feedback page where you can submit the TikTok feedback form. This is done the same way as through the web.

How Long Does TikTok Take To Respond To Feedback?

As reported by ampfluence, the TikTok response time is typically 6-8 hours to respond through customer services. However, they can also be reached via social media and their region-specific email addresses. You could then get a quicker response that way.

If your issue is affecting your experience on the app, then you can always try updating it, clearing any caches or turning the device off. It’s likely TikTok will ask if you’ve done this, so beat them to it so you can properly address the problem.
